It's from the Gibson factory in Kalamazoo Michigan. The back is raw, unfinished, and unsanded.  I believe that this part is for an F Style Mandolin. It is carved in to the bow back shape. It is in great condition with no cracks, wormholes or anything like that. Please review the specs and measurements listed below. This is a really unique find that virtually never happens.
